Our shipping is currently with NZ post and Aramex. We understand the importance of sending your parcel to you as soon as possible . Delays in shipping are generally the fault of the companies that we deal with. Any delays or errors in stock levels are immediately identified and We will contact you  by email regarding this.
Our gift wrapping has been a feature of our NZ business. We include FREE giftwrapping  for all purchases. These are usually wrapped individually.You are more than welcome to include a message for a simple free giftcard Your message will be personally handwritten.Please indicate your message in the additional shipping information on checkout or alternatively email us on info@toysnz.co.nz


REFUNDS
If for any reason, you are unsatisfied with your gift from The Great New Zealand Toy Store, simply return the goods to us, and we will refund your purchase in full. However, we will only pay the freight costs of returning the parcel to us if the fault of the goods is our responsibility.
If any of the products in your order are faulty, we shall refund your order amount as well as the costs involved in returning the product to us after being verified and confirmed by our suppliers that the product is in fact faulty. The refund can either be in the form of a credit for use on our site or full refund of payment. We do not have to provide a refund if you have changed your mind about a particular purchase, so please choose carefully. If the goods are faulty, we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act to provide a remedy.

EXCHANGES
We are happy to exchange a product or products once we have received an email addressing the exchange that needs to be made and that we have received the posted item.Any difference ( payment) between the original item and the one being supplied must be paid for before the new item is shipped.Postage for the new item would also have to be paid for.

UNABLE TO MEET ORDER
All orders are subject to the availability of those products or services. If for any reason a product is unavailable, we will endeavour to notify the non-availability on our online shop or by email. Where 2 or more of the same products are ordered and the supply is unable to be met immediately we will contact you via email as soon as possible.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If your order has been processed but not dispatched (shipped) you may request your order to be cancelled (in writing to info@toysnz.co.nz). The Great New Zealand Toy Store will charge a handling and processing charge of $5 . If you wish to cancel any orders that have been dispatched, the refund policy will apply.


Please Note : Any delays are currently displayed on NZ post website.  We use NZ post for sending our parcels overseas.For overseas shipping ,our rates are based on size and weight and carefully priced for each zone. Our parcels are sent via New Zealand Post Shop using Airpost.  A total delivery cost will be provided in the order summary in your online shopping basket. We will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that orders for tangible goods will be dispatched promptly after an order has been placed. We aim to deliver these items safely and within the duration stated. All items are bubble wrapped and are secured by an outer covering of cardboard.  We endeavour to describe all items correctly that are going overseas on a customs clearance form sighted by our local post office.  Our gift wrapping is FREE for all international shipments.

Prices for overseas shipping ( includes all zones) are carefully managed to provide you with the best rate. Where by more than one item is being sent then a combined cost will be calculated based on size.  The cost of overseas shipping is calculated at the time the order and selection of zone has been created. This is clearly displayed in the shopping cart

CUSTOMS The Great New Zealand Toy Store is not responsible for any import duties or taxes imposed by customs at the country of import - any import duties or taxes are the sole responsibility of the purchaser, we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. It might help to contact your local customs office for more information.  Items that are posted will not carry a track and trace number unless it is one of the following
It has been shipped using the priority mail. It exceeds 2 kilograms in weight It is sent to a post office box.

Please Note: We are unable to send any products containing Manuka Honey overseas.

  • Will my parcel be tracked?

    NZ post provides track and trace labels. When your item is ready for shipping we will send a confirmation and NZ post will send a label link. 

  • All parcels going by Aramex couriers will have a track and trace label attached which can be tracked on https://www.aramex.co.nz/tools

    How long will my parcel take to arrive?

  • We are currently trialing an overnight service with NZ post for Auckland and some parts of the North Island. Please allow 3 -7 days for South island.


We would expect parcels bound for a North Island address to take at least 4 days,include more for a rural address.Parcels going to the South Island generally take 5-10 days,please allow more days for a rural address.

  • Do you giftwrap?

All giftwrapping including items going either to national or international destinations are wrapped for
FREE. Your items will be wrapped individually . 



  • Can I include a message for a card ?

You are very welcome to include a message within the shipping information that is viewed in the shopping cart as an optional window.Alternatively you can email us on

  • Do you do Laybys ?

At this stage we are unable to do laybys.

  • How can I pay ?

We accept payment by either MasterCard,Visa or Debitcard.We DO NOT accept by Amex or Paypal.
